Crop News: This year's crop is smaller than last year's and earlier thanks to an early spring and a hot summer. Still we should have good supplies of fruit.
Cider Donuts:
Cider donuts are available on weekends from September until mid-December.

Linda's Country Kitchen Pies are available both fresh and frozen much of the season.
Shipping:
Ask about shipping apples until early December. Cold weather
makes it risky after that.

Our cider has been "exposed" to the latest in Ultra-violet technology. This process gives the same level
of safety as pasteurization without affecting flavor!
As always, there are no added preservatives.

New York State Cheese
"CA": Later in the winter, you may see some varieties prefixed "CA" on their label. The label may read "CA Mac" or "CA Empire", for example. "CA" is not a different variety. This simply refers to how these apples were stored since harvest. A"CA" apple was in a "Controlled Atmosphere" storage for at least 90 days. This low oxygen environment retains the apple's harvest-time flavor and firmness much better than conventional refrigeration.
