A Family Tradition The Borden farm, located in the town of Easton in Washington County, New York, has been owned and operated by the Borden family for seven generations. The first 23-acre parcel of land was purchased by Smith Borden in 1837. Today, the farm totals 776 acres of orchards, cropland, pastures and forest.
The Orchards We grow more than 25 different apple varieties, as well as pears, plums, peaches and blueberries. We also mill our own cider. During the fall harvest season, visitors can enjoy a glass, plus a variety of other cider treats, including fresh apple cider donuts and our famous Cider Slush.
The Dairy Borden’s is also a dairy farm. Our cows produce milk for local dairy cooperative, Stewart’s, which becomes part of the many dairy products available locally in Stewart’s Shops.
